June 2024 Product Updates

In our June release, the following products and features will become available to all Coram AI customers.

New Features

Multi-Factor Authentication: Admins can now enable multi-factor authentication for their organization from the Settings page.
Journey for Vehicles: We have extended the Journey feature to include both people and now vehicles. Users can automatically track a vehicle across multiple cameras in seconds, saving hours of investigation time.
Vehicle-Person Proximity Metric: Users can now create a dashboard to see how often a person comes close to a moving vehicle or forklift. Organizations can use this to highlight examples of dangerous activity, creating easier training opportunity for employees.

What's New

Static IP for Coram Point: Users can now set the static IP address to the Coram Point network interface from the Coram dashboard. This has been widely requested and allows for more reliable and consistent network management.
Bandwidth Preserving Streaming: On the timeline page, we have made Standard Definition the default to preserve bandwidth. Users can enable High Definition streaming for their own account by going to Settings > Personal.
Longer Default Clip Length: We have increased the default length of video clips from 3 minutes to 10 minutes. So when you click on the timeline you can see longer clips at once

May 2024 Product Updates

In our May release, the following products and features will become available to all Coram AI customers.

New Features

What's New

Improved Discover and Journey: Upgrade the foundation model used in Discovery and Journey, making searches more accurate.
New Design of Archives: Archives has been completely redesigned. You can now share archive externally with users not on the Coram AI platform, and they will get a secure link to open it on browser or mobile.
Longer Archive Length: Increase maximum video archive length to 1 hour from 30 minutes
Upload Picture for Person of Interest: Users can now upload a photo of a person of interest and get alerted if they show up on camera.
Insights: You can create custom dashboards and get insights into things like vehicle or person counting, pallet counting, and line crossing metrics. The number of dashboards you can build is unlimited.

Bug Fixes

Improved Video Quality: We fixed a bug that was slightly degrading video quality even when there was motion in the scene.
Fixed Video Jitter: We reduced jitter in the video, it was happening on the cameras with H264 codec. Users impacted should now see smoother video.

Note: If you ever notice that the video streaming quality is not as good as what you see directly from the camera, please reach out to us. That's not expected, and we would love to fix it.
