Today I'm proud to share that we've raised our $35 million Series B, co-led by our newest partner, Ansa Capital, and Battery Ventures, with participation from UP Partners, 8VC, and Mosaic Ventures. This brings Coram's total funding to $66 million.
This capital fuels our mission: to make the physical world safer with privacy-preserving AI built into every space people depend on.
We started Coram four years ago to fix the core problem in physical security: it's reactive. When something goes wrong, security teams spend hours reviewing footage, access logs, and other data to piece together what happened. Investigations that should take minutes take hours. We believed AI could change that.
The future of physical security is humans working with autonomous agents.
Agents look across cameras, access control, alarms, and visitor systems, then investigate, summarize, escalate, and help people act faster. We believe every physical space will eventually run hundreds of them in the background, making security and operations teams 10x more effective.
Our investors see the same opportunity. "Physical security is one of the largest industries yet to be transformed by modern AI," said Allan Jean-Baptiste, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Ansa Capital. "Coram's founders bring a rare combination of frontier AI expertise and deep conviction about where the market is headed. Their rapid growth demonstrates that organizations are looking for more than cameras and monitoring tools. They want intelligence that helps them operate more safely, efficiently, and proactively."
Since our Series A, Coram has grown from a video security product into a full physical security platform: video security, access control, emergency management, visitor management, and more.
More than 1,500 locations run on Coram today. We can move this fast because of our architecture that works with any IP camera, so customers get value on the infrastructure they already own, without ripping and replacing it. And because we built Coram AI-native from day one, our edge devices run the latest AI models right where the data lives, on NVIDIA GPUs, so customers get powerful AI without sending sensitive video to the cloud.
We're leading that charge with Deep Investigation, an autonomous investigation agent. Ask it a question in plain language and it analyzes months of video, access logs, visitor activity, and operational data across hundreds of cameras and locations, gathering the evidence, finding the patterns, and producing a clear report the team can act on.
Work that used to take hours now happens in minutes.
Hershey's Ice Cream, the 125-year-old family creamery, used to halt production and discard entire batches every time a metal detector alerted; now its team isolates the exact moment of risk in minutes instead of writing off a whole production run. "Coram's AI capabilities mean there is no live person required to watch footage all day. The system works in the background, so our staff can focus on their actual jobs," said Stephen Hoffer, IT Director at Hershey's Ice Cream.
Salem High School swapped antiquated cameras for real-time weapon detection and plain-language video search, turning hours of hallway review into a few typed words. "It's revolutionized the way that we keep this campus safe," said Assistant Principal Bonnie Reedy.
Lakepointe Church protects more than 30,000 congregants across 8 campuses in Dallas, including the 150 families who rely on its food pantry each week, all on cameras it already owned.
Momentum like this is what the round is for. It comes down to two things: expanding the product and building the best go-to-market team in the industry.
On product, we'll keep investing in AI, edge infrastructure, and the agent platform: the operating system for the physical world, where cameras, doors, alarms, sensors, and people all become part of one intelligent system. Building it takes rare talent, and Coram has become a magnet for the frontier AI researchers and computer-vision engineers it requires.
On go-to-market, it starts with sales. We're hiring sales leaders and account executives who love the craft of selling, from cold calling to closing. We're especially drawn to people with athletic backgrounds, who know how to train, take coaching, and keep improving. We back them with coaching, AI-powered selling tools we build in-house, and a product customers love: a platform, not a point solution, going after one of the largest markets in the world.
Physical security is being rebuilt around AI, and we're building the agents, the platform, and the team to lead that change. None of this happens without our team, our customers, investors, and the partners who bet on us early.
To all of you, thank you.
